I started the Surrey Burnouts(formally known as the Whalley burnouts)in 1997 to help the time pass at a shitty low paying
job. It did the trick. I actually drew Sean and Paul several years before for no particular reason and happened to come across
it one day. Bored at work, I started to draw them in one page, one pannel comics. Just drawings of them getting
stoned and shit. I used to show them to other emplyees to see what they'd say. Then one day this chick asked why I don't
draw a full comic of them. I felt challenged so I did. The first one had absolutely no thought process what so ever in it.
I just wrote it as i went. Which explains how crappy the story was. It started to snowball from there. I started writing out
the comic before I drew it, which was a new concept for me at the time, and I started developing the characters. They became
more rounded. Now I actually enjoy writing the stories more than drawing them, which explains why I have more comics written
than drawn. I hope to get all of them finished and on this web-site A.S.A.P. so all you guys out there can see what
a sick fuck I am.
